The aim of this project is to develop a musical content management in which the user could watch or listen music master works. The project is oriented to users needs, it is developed using a model based in agiles methodologies and concepts of web 2.0 such as folksonomies or Web Ontologies.

This project will be developed using Romulus framework to help improving the efficiency and the productivity in the lifecycle of the development. With the experience appoached, the musiteca project is intended to demostrate the advantages of using Romulus framework to develop software application.

Romulus framework provides these features to this project:

• Domain Driven Design the musiteca model is based in the concept of anything is a POJO, from the GUI forms to the persistent objects. You build CRUDs to provide services.

• Portlet Development the musiteca tools will be integrated in portals that support the JSR 168 specification of Java.

• Aspect Development use romulus framework to build a web application based in aspect.

• Decouple Development musiteca will integrate the latest breaking technologies without modifying your domain and application logic because they are really decoupled.

• Security Development use the Wapiti tool of Romulus to check the security.

• Semantic Web expose the musiteca data as semantic information without effort.

• Workflow funcionalities use a workflow engine to provide collaborative capabilities to enrich musical contents.

• JSP View Flexibility design of the web view, including jQuery tools.

• MVC development Model view-controller independent of a concrete implementation
